The NEET UG 2013 in it’s first avatar has given more confusion to medical & dental prospects. Firstly when MCI announced NEET UG replacing all state level medical PMTs, there was objection from several state governments. Students were at large in a state of confusion whether to prepare for the CBSE prescribed NEET UG syllabus or continue preparing for the state level PMT. Despite several challanges faced by MCI & CBSE, the maiden CBSE was concluded on 05 May 2013 except in Karnataka (postponed due to elections).
