Less than 1% of candidates have managed to pass out of 795,000 candidates who have appeared for CTET held during Nov 2012. The test was cancelled in Mumbai and rescheduled for 02 December 2012, the results for the postponed test are yet to be released by the CBSE. In all other centres CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) was held on 18 November 2012, the results have been declared on 27 December 2012.

CTET is a mandatory written test for aspiring primary and secondary school teachers in all CBSE schools. Since the launch of the test in 2011, the pass percentage is at a dismal low. CTET will be held twice a year, the next test will be announced in due course of time. As the saying goes practice makes man perfect, one should really have a thorough practice to ace CTET.
