Madhya Pradesh plans to bunk NEET-UG 2013

It is not a good beginning for the first ever common medical entrance test NEET UG, it seems there is very less support & understanding between the state governments and MCI. As per the latest happenings, Madhya Pradesh wants to bunk NEET-UG 2013 and have it’s own state level medical CET in place. The MP government is seeking ways to avoid NEET-UG and take support legally; students who wish to compete for the medical seats in it’s states will have to appear for state level test and those who wish to try their chances to bag seats in other states can write NEET-UG 2013.

NEET-UG 2013 has been announced by MCI as a single entrance test to replace all state level medical entrance exams. The objective is two fold, avoid multiple entrance exams and have a common test to ensure transparency in the seat allocation process. Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu are already away from the ambit of NEET-UG.
