IRMA gets clean chit to conduct it’s own management entrance test

The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) has got clean chit from the Supreme Court of India to conduct it’s own management entrance exam for the coming academic year admissions. IRMA conducts the entrance test for the courses Postgraduate Programme in Rural Management & Fellow Programme in Rural Management, the test is scheduled to be held on 11 November 2012.

Since last year AICTE has been stressing to select students based on the 5 recognized national level entrance exams including CMAT, IRMA’s course content is purely on Rural Management for which a different level of aptitude is necessary. IRMA has approached Supreme Court to have them conduct it’s own entrance exam.

The Apex court has ruled in favor of IRMA, taking into views of the students who have already applied for IRMA Management Entrance Test. The last date for receiving the completed application forms was 30 September 2012.
