Common Interview process for bank jobs soon

The Government has cleared the proposal for the common interview process for public sector banks, which are part of IBPS CWE. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Common Written Examinations (CWE) for clerical, probationary or specialist officers & management trainee positions in 19 public sector banks. The written test scores will be accepted by all participating banks, however each bank reserves the right to conduct interview process for the announced positions. An applicant who satisfies the eligibility criteria for the job interview will be interviewed by that particular bank, the applicant needs to appear for similar such job positions.

The new system will do away with the old method, all Banks except State Bank of India will have only one interview process which will be conducted by IBPS. The job seeker will benefit with the new system, same way Banks too can avoid the tedious task of holding interviews.

IBPS recently announced CWE for clerical cadre, the application process is yet to be started.
