Aptech, the global leader in training & learning services, is conducting the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) mandated by The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) once again commencing from September 27th- October 1st, 2012.
Banking on the technical superiority and a glitch-free process witnessed last year the project duration has been reduced from 9 days to 5 days this time around. The number of cities where the examination will be conducted have been increased to 64 cities. This will eventually lead to a rise in the number of centres.
Prof. S. S. Mantha, Chairman, AICTE said, “This format allows students to save time, energy and money by institutionalizing online testing. This also saves a lot of hassles for the colleges by facilitating one time testing for a lot of colleges put together. We are happy to innovate in the conventional pattern of such examinations and drive it successfully. The current CMAT is for admission to academic year 2013-2014. We have also announced that we would consider the best of 2 scores between the CMAT held in Sep/Oct and the next sometime later in the year for admissions in academic year 2013-2014. “
Commenting on the online test, Aptech CEO & MD, Mr Ninad Karpe said, “We are confident for another round of glitch-free and successful online CMAT. It greatly benefits the stakeholders in conducting tests with utmost transparency, eases the burden of logistics for both colleges & students taking the tests.”
