Vernacular language issue was one of the several reasons that prevented NEET UG last year, thankfully the issue has been sorted out according to a report. NEET UG which is scheduled for 12 May 2013 will have no more controversial issues, students from Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamilnadu & Gujarat can take the test in their regional language if they wish so.
Last year, states raised objections showing the strength of students from regional medium, when MCI ruled out the option of conducting the test in vernacular languages some states have protested. An year’s time has yielded favorable results, students from regional backgrounds need not worry about English.
