Last year IIM Indore became the first ever IIM to launch an integrated management programme which spans over 5 years. The course which was named as ‘Integrated Programme in Management’ is a full time integrated management course. The application process for this year’s batch has started; students who have already submitted their applications can check their application status online. The last date to apply for IPM 2012 is 20 July 2012.

Unlike last year this year all the students who are eligible can take the Aptitude Test; last year only selected students were invited for the Aptitude Test & Personal Interview. Students who have scored above 60% in board exams (plus 2) or students with SAT scores 1600 are eligible to apply for IPM course. The age limit for General & OBC is 20 years as of 30 June 2012. For SC/ST/PWD candidates the percentage of board exam marks is relaxed by 5% (55% required) or SAT score 1475 are eligible and the age limit is 22 years as of 30 June 2012.
Last year out of 3545 valid applications; 1021 students have been shortlisted to appear for the Aptitude Test & Personal Interview.
Aptitude Test for IPM 2012
The test will be of objective type with negative marking, ONE mark will be deducted for incorrect answer. There will be a total of 100 questions which test Quantitative and Verbal Ability; the duration of the test is TWO hours and each correct answer will be awarded with FOUR marks.

Personal Interview for IPM 2012
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Personal Interview, the shortlisted student names will be announced on 24 August 2012.

A total of 121 seats are available for the IPM course, for each seat SEVEN students will be called for the personal interview based on aptitude test score. 60% weightage will be given for Quantitative Ability while 40% weightage will be for Verbal Ability section.
The programme fee will cost Rs 1600,000 excluding hostel and food facilities.
