Andhra Students Will Not Be Given Fresh Ranks For Karnataka CET

EAMCET may have considered Intermediate Physics Supplementary marks for Ranking this year, the same doesn’t hold true for the Karnataka CET. As per report the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has denied to consider the supplementary marks, this year majority of students failed in the Class XII Physics examination.

KEA has not entertained requests from Andhra Pradesh students stating, No candidate shall be eligible for admission to any of the full-time degree courses specified in sub-clause 3 of Rule (1), other than the degree courses in architecture, unless he/she has passed all subjects in II PUC or Class 12 or equivalent examinations held, preceding the (common) entrance test,”

Further more in Karnataka only students who have passed the qualifying examination before CET will be considered, thus students who have written examination post CET will not be considered for admissions.
