Nearly 800 applications were rejected, the list has been placed on the website (link), the common and most found reasons were mistake in the hall ticket or opting for wrong stream. Applicants are supposed to give the Intermediate II Year Hall Ticket number for filling the online application form and the stream is Engineering or Medical. Wrong stream and wrong hall ticket number will disqualify the applicant.

This year 3,88,463 applications have been received of which 95,490 were for medical stream and 2.92 lakh are for engineering. Students appearing for Eamcet will have to carry the filled-in online application form downloaded from the website along with the hallticket to the exam hall, failing which the results of the candidate would be withheld though they would be allowed to write the test.

And in case of SC/ST students, if they fail to present the copy of caste certificate at the time of exam, they would be considered in general category. (via) Thumb impression of the candidate on the application form and signature from the gazetted officer is also important.

Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE.
