CBSE Initiates Counselling Programmes For Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has a wider role to play in the India’s education system. CBSE is the education regulatory body for affiliated primary & secondary schools; CBSE also holds national level entrance exams for Engineering & Medical college admissions in India through AIEEE & AIPMT respectively.

To make life easier for students & parents, CBSE initiated counselling programmes to benefit students at large. The toll-free number 1800-180-3456 will now go to a friendly helpline from CBSE to respond to student queries related to board exams. Apart from the telephonic counselling; CBSE is also in plans to write question answer columns in newspapers and enable online counselling through CBSE website.
