CMAT To Be Held Twice A Year From 2013


The Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) will be held twice a year from 2013 according to sources. CMAT 2012 deadline has been extended to 22 January 2012 from 09 January 2012 to draw more applicants.

From next year CMAT can be taken either in February or August; aspiring MBA students can take the test twice and the best of the two can be submitted for MBA admissions in the next academic year.

With CAT results out today, probably AICTE hopes CAT aspirants to look CMAT is an option the deadline has been extended as well. CMAT is a gateway for AICTE approved MBA colleges; the test is for 400 marks. More information on CMAT 2012 can be had from our previous post.

So far Kerala, Maharashtra & Rajasthan have sent their consent to accept CMAT scores from this academic year itself.
