The application forms for the Armed Forces Medical Entrance Exam 2012 will be available only ‘Online’ according to a notification issued by AFMC Pune. AFMC MBBS Entrance Exam will be held on 06 May 2012 (Sunday), the details and important dates for application submission or not available yet.
This year even the application forms for AIEEE & AIPMT were also made available only online. Taking similar stand the Armed Forces Medical College will also allow online applications only while the payment can be made offline (through DD).
Though examination conducting bodies are favoring online applications majority of students (applicants) are suggesting that the forms should also be made available offline.
The ongoing poll on Career Mitra (which will be concluded soon) was about “Do you think AIPMT 2012 application forms should be made available offline?” of the 1051 participants 74% (779 voters) of them said forms should be available offline also; only 17% (177 voters) have said they are comfortable with offline forms.
As majority of applicants seek help from elder brothers or parents to help them fill the form online; in some cases it is possible that the applicant has none to help him.
While we are not against to technology but a mock application form should be available online before the student fills the actual application form. This will help students to know what mistakes they have made after seeing the mock application form and they can ensure not to repeat those.
What are your views? Just like mock tests online, mock application form should be made available well in advance for users to take a trial.

Hi Manisha, There won’t be offline forms this year; you can apply only ONLINE from Feb 06, 2012.
