National Institute of Design Extends Deadline

National Institute of Design has extended the deadline for submitting application forms for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses to 25 November 2011. National Institute of Design is an autonomous body under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

NID offers professional education programmes at Undergraduate and Post Graduate level with five faculty streams and 17 diverse design domains.

The Institute offers two kinds of courses:

1. Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) Download blank Application Form – GDPD
2. Post-graduate Diploma Programme in Design (PGDPD) Download blank Application Form – PGDPD

Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) of four years duration for students after 10+2, or equivalent like AISSCE/ IB/ ICSE, and the Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (PGDPD) of 2 ½ years duration for graduates; particularly from architecture, technology, engineering, fine and applied arts, information technology, computer science, etc.
