Couple of days ago we have published an article about the ‘Scam Story of Tri-Valley University‘ and how it ruined life of thousands of Indian students enrolled for courses offered by this University. Reportedly about 435 students got a sigh of relief as these students got transferred to other Universities based in United States.
Thanks to the prompt action from the USA authorities; 435 students out of 1500 Indian students will go to other educational universities to continue their studies. USA authorities have assured transfers to the rest of the scam hit students after evaluating each students on a one to one basis.
Earlier Indian Embassy had written to the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton asking her to view the cases of over 1,000 Indian students affected by the “sham” Tri Valley University with “understanding” and in a “fair” manner. The actions of USA authorities are in response to the Indian Ambassador Nirupama Rao.
While scams in education or not an unusual thing every now and then few fake Institutes come up and loot innocent students and parents hard earned money, such Institutes do exist in India in good number. Do you think Indian government should talk punitive action and shut shutters of such Institutes? Share your thoughts!
