India’s most toughest management entrance exam CAT will be conducted from tomorrow (October 22, 2011); nearly 200,000 students have registered for CAT this year. This year CAT is accepted not just by IIMs and participating business schools but also FMS Delhi, IITs too are considering CAT score for selecting students.
IITs have done away with JMET and following CAT; while FMS Delhi this year had issues with Delhi University and had gone the CAT way. CAT will be held over a 20 day window. CAT will have two minor changes, test takers should keep it in mind that there are only two timed sections and you will not be allowed to move back and forth between sections.
Reporting to test centre
If you have registered for Session 1 (morning session), you must arrive at the test centre by 8:30 AM for security checks, identity verification and checking in. Testing will begin at 10 AM. If you have registered for Session 2 (afternoon session), you must arrive at the test centre by 1:45 PM. Testing will begin at 3:15 PM.

- Admit card
- Photo ID (Original)
- Caste certificate for SC / ST
- DA candidates should carry support form, valid photo id of scribe
