The higher education department is drafting a plan to regulate the activities of coaching institutes. Soon coaching institutes might be asked to acquire a license from concerned authorities to operate the centers. The higher education department will go hard on the coaching institutes and watch carefully on the fees these institutes charge for courses.
What will be the expected outcome?
Tuition or coaching fee will be regulated, the concerned institute has to fix the tuition fee and intimate to the higher education department.
It is a known truth that few training institutes charge a premium for courses which have demand in the market. Institutes will get affiliated to a reputed brand for franchise and starts operations with out adequate teaching resources. Ignorant student will only look at the brand name and enrolls himself for coaching and by the time he realizes his mistake he had already committed fees.
However the final decision rests with the human resource ministry before such a rule passes officially. Higher education department will discuss with the ministry and issue notifications to the coaching institutes.
