The recent update is as below:
Selection Process: IIM Indore will be adopting two-stage process for selecting suitable candidates for final admission to its first batch of Five-Year Integrated Postgraduate Programme in Management (IPGP) commencing in October 2011
Batch Size: The first year’s IPGP will have 121 students, 57 students will be from general category, 33 students from OBC, 18 students from SC category, 9 students will be from ST category and 4 students will be from PWD category.

Eligibility: No change in the eligibility 60% aggregate marks (or 1600 SAT I) for general and non creamy obc candidates and 55% aggregate marks (or 1475 SAT I) in the case of SC, ST, PWD/DA category) in X & higher secondary level. Those candidates who are likely to complete the qualifying examination by July 30, 2011 are also eligible to apply.
The two staged process
Applications of eligible candidates will be categorized into two streams viz. and their composite scores will be caluculated.
(a) applicants with aggregate marks of 60% (55% in case of SC, ST and PWD/DA category) and above in both Secondary and Higher Secondary marks and with no valid SAT-1 scores.
Composite Score (100%) (CS-1) = Secondary/ Equivalent (40%) + Higher Secondary/ Equivalent (60%).
(b) applicants with SAT-1 score of 1600 (1475 in case of SC, ST and PWD/DA category) and above and pass in Secondary and Higher Secondary.
Composite Score (100%) (CS -2) = Writing Section (40%) + Critical Reading Section (20%) + Mathematics Section (40%).
Number of candidates in each category in proportion of number of eligible applications will be shortlisted for AT and PI. Finally a merit list based on composite score will be prepared and applicants will be shortlisted for AT and PI based on number candidates in each category.
Note: Normalised scores across boards will be used for computing composite score.
Aptitude Test & Personal Interview for students who are shortlisted
Proposed Aptitude Test (AT) would be around ONE hour duration, paper and pencil OMR based, which will be conducted on September 25, 2011 at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata and Mumbai. The examination centers are tentative
and would change depending on the number of candidates opting and logistical requirements from IIM Indore side. Aptitude test would be at the level of Secondary/Equivalent and consist of written and verbal ability, general awareness and analytical ability.
Final Selection will be based on their performance in Secondary/Equivalent, Higher Secondary/Equivalent, Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). A merit list using the following final composite score (FCS) will be prepared and admission offers will be made.
Final Composite Score (FCS) = Aptitude Test (40%) +Personal Interview (60%)
