CTET 2011 Admit Card Alternative Procedure

The alternative procedure for attending the examination with out CTET 2011 admit card is as follows:

Most of you might have seen your CTET 2011 Provisional Candidate Information, which can be obtained on CBSE Website. It will ask for your Application Number and DOB.

Application Number: 559***8-58***9

Date of Birth: DD/MM/YYYY

Once you enter in the above format, you will be viewing your CTET 2011 Provisional Candidate Information. If you go to the bottom of the page you will find.

Your Admit Card is being dispatched. In case if you don’t receive the same, kindly download the Undertaking Form by clicking the following link and report at allotted centre with undertaking form and two photographs

Download the undertaking form by pressing right click and save the page. You can carry this undertaking form to your respective CTET 2011 Test Center and make sure to get it attested by the ‘CENTRE SUPERINTENDENT’.

CTET 2011 Control Room Numbers

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be held by CBSE on 26 June 2011 (Sunday), the admit cards of all candidates are dispatched. A control room is functional from 20 June 2011, in case of any difficulty including not receiving the admit cards candidates can contact the given numbers. The control room will functional as per the schedule and timings given below.

Contact the below given control room numbers between 20th June 2011 to 25th June 2011 from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM and on 26th June 2011 from 06.30 AM to 12.30 PM.

CTET 2011 Provisional Candidate Information

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted on 26 June 2011 (Sunday) as per schedule, the provisional candidate information is made available on the CBSE Website. One need to type in the application number of CTET & DOB in (DD/MM/YYYY) format to retrieve the information.

Other Facts of CTET

The CTET is presently being conducted annually. The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years for all categories.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

CTET Applicability

The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.

Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.
