BHEL Requires 150 Assistant HR Officers

jobsBharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is one of the oldest and largest state-owned engineering and manufacturing enterprise in India in the energy-related and infrastructure sector which includes Power, Railways, Transmission and Distribution, Oil and Gas sectors and many more.

BHEL currently requires 150 Assistant Officers HR under Grade II, the number of vacancies indicated is tentative and actual requirement may vary based on further assessment. The requirement is for BHEL’s various Manufacturing Units and Project Sites spread all over India.

Out of the above, 5 vacancies are reserved for Physically Challenged (Ph.Ch.) candidates having Locomotor Disability / Visual Impairment / Hearing Impairment.

Educational Qualification & Work Experience

Position Education qualification Percentage / CGPA Age limit (as on 01/Aug/ 2011)
Asst. Officer HRGrade II Full time regular Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA) / Bachelor’s of Business Management (BBM) / Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) with Personnel Management / IR / HR/ Labour Welfare as one of the major subjects from a recognized Indian University/ Institute Minimum 65 % marks or Equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all years / semesters (relaxable to 60 % for SC/ST candidates)

30 Years

(Candidates born before 01 / 08 / 1981 are not eligible to apply)

 

Post Qualification Work Experience (as on 01/08/2011): – Minimum Three years of Work experience in HR function in manufacturing Unit or Project Site of a Listed Company.

Selection Process

Selection process will comprise of only Personal Interview.

Candidates will be shortlisted for being called for the interview in the ratio of 1:3 to the number of vacancies in order of merit of aggregate marks (percentage) of all semesters/ years, secured in Minimum required qualification.

NOTE: Candidate finally selected are required to work at the initial place of posting for a period of four years after training / regularization, unless transferred by the Company in Organizational interest. No request for change in place of posting/transfer will be considered during this period. In case any outside influence is brought upon any superior authority in this matter, it will be construed as a misconduct as per Rule 17 of the BHEL Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Rules.

BHEL Recruits Engineers Through GATE 2012

bhelNow you can land as an Engineer Trainee in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) if you could score in the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers (GATE) 2012.

There are a total of 800 posts (refer below table for details), BHEL will use the scores obtained in GATE 2012 for inviting applicants for personal interview.

Please note that candidates have to apply separately for BHEL after receiving GATE 2012 admit cards. You can visit here to get information and important dates to apply for GATE 2012.

Salary & Service Bond

The salaries for engineer trainees will be either Rs. 750,000 per annum (at manufacturing units) or Rs. 880,000 per annum (at project sites) depending upon the site location. There will be service bond, candidates who are selected are required to sign service bond for a period of three years.

3 Get the GATE 2012 Registration Number from the Admit Card
4 Apply to BHEL from 04 January 2012 onwards at http://careers.bhel.in/
5 You will receive an acknowledgement receipt with a unique number
6 Take print out of the acknowledgement receipt & send it to BHEL along with a processing fee of Rs 100 in case of General or OBC and NIL in case of SC / ST / PH candidates. Attest a passport size photograph should be the same which was submitted to GATE 2012 application form.
Done If you are shortlisted you will receive an interview call letter from BHEL
