Delhi_University's_official_logoUnlike the traditional way, last year the Delhi University has experimented a 4 year degree course to enhance more flexibility to it’s students. The students can choose the subjects they wish to study under the 4 years degree scheme, it became controversial when the HRD Minister Smriti Irani  announced scrapping of the 4 year degrees.

Students held protest, it went so long that the Delhi University UG admissions were on freeze; till the dilemma is resolved. According to a statement issued by Delhi University Vice Chancellor Dinesh Singh, the University will roll back it’s degree programme to three years instead of 4 years. This should ease the confusion between the UGC & the University, Delhi University is one of the oldest universities in India established in the year 1922.
