Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a replacement to the All Indian Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), all the NITs will use the score of JEE Main + 40% of weightage to board exams for selecting the students for it’s technical 4 years courses B.E or B.Tech. This is the first time such a system has been introduced, further main JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is for entrance to IITs, in which 40% weightage is given to academics i.e board exams.

Candidates must provide their roll number & date of birth to retrieve their result online. 10,50,000 students have appeared for JEE Main of which 150,000 students have taken the traditional paper pencil test.
