The Common Admission Test (CAT) an eligibility test for Management programmes in IIMs and Non IIM Business Schools will soon spread it’s wings and cross borders. The IIMs are in the process of making CAT an International test in the lines of GRE & GMAT, Candidates across the globe can administer the test.

At present, NRIs and Indian origin people across the globe needs to appear for GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) conducted by GMAC. Prometric the company which conducts CAT in India, reported to sources that the company is in the process of taking CAT International. An MoA (Memorandum of Association) has been signed by IIMs in regard to this, Prometric is conducting CAT since 2009. The contract between IIMs and Promteric will last till 2014.
