University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship. The  examination will be conducted in two phases at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra on June 24 from 9:30 am to 4 pm.

The University spokesman told that Kurukshetra University is one of the selected centres for conducting NET examination in the State. As many as 63 examination centres have been set up in the campus of the University for 19681 candidates appearing in 45 subjects.

The roll numbers to all the eligible candidates have been sent and if anyone did not get his or her roll number till June 19, the candidate could get the duplicate roll number issued from conduct branch of the university between June 20 and 23. Candidates has to bring two passport size photographs with him or her to avail duplicate roll number. No candidate would be issued duplicate roll number on the day of the examination.

The candidate could also check his examination centre, roll number and sitting plan on university’s website www.kuk.ac.in.
