Only 16,268 Candidates Qualified For IBPS Specialist Officers Written Test

About 300,000 candidates have applied for the IBPS Specialist Officers Written Test, only 16,268 candidates managed to get through the CWE conducted by IBPS on behalf of the 19 public sector banks. The results are available on IBPS website, the specialist domains are IT, Technical, Agriculture, Legal, Marketing, HR, and Rashtrabhasha.

Majority of candidates have applied for IT Officer position, a hopping 194,755 candidates have registered for this position but only 151,058 candidates have appeared for the CWE. Only 4394 candidates have qualified, the highest number of qualified candidates are for the Marketing officer position.

  1. I am eligible in both marketing officer and IT officer due to MBA(marketing) & B.Tech(ECE) . which would be better for me to apply?……please suggest me……

    • Marketing involves travelling, there will be targets and you will need to convince customers to buy banking products. If that interests you go for marketing officer or else choose a tech job which involves creative thinking and programming skills.

      • if i will go for government job through IBPS specialist officer exam then which will be better ….means PG degree is more valuable or UG degree is more valuable at time of interview?

  2. ye kya chu**yapa hai… isme business kaha se aa gya… jo kuch hai ekdam crystal clear hai.. han first time ibps ka selection process jarur business tha.. but not this time…

  3. What is the expected score(IT-SCale-I) to get interview calls?
    Approx how many vacancies for the post of Scale-I IT officer are there all over India?

  4. IBPS EXAM ONE TYPE OF BUSINESS . It reduces employment opportunity. GOVT. Should take necessary action to stop it.
