Top 25 Medical Colleges in India

The basic medical qualification obtained in Indian medical schools is called MBBS. The MBBS course is of four and a half years and is followed by one year of Compulsory Rotating Residential Internship. MBBS course is followed by MS, a post graduation course in surgical specialities or MD, a post graduate course in medical specialities which are usually of 3 years duration.

Super or sub-specialities can be pursued and only a MS or MD holder is eligible. A qualification in super or sub speciality is called DM or M.Ch. Entry into medical education is based on entrance examination in most of the states. Some prestigious institutes like AIIMS, AIMS, CMC Vellore, JIPMER and AFMC conduct entrance tests at national levels and attract candidates from all over the country.

In India Medical Colleges are governed and regulated by Medical Council of India, a central regulatory body. The Council grants recognition of medical qualifications, gives accreditation to medical colleges, grants registration to medical practitioners, and monitors medical practice in India.

    THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS MAY PLEASE CONDUCT CONVENIENT DATES . IN THE CURRENT YEAR THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION DATE OF AFMC AND COMEDK WERE SAME ON 6th MAY 2012 . THE RESPECTED PLEASE AVOID SUCH INCONVENIENCE OF THE CANDIDATES IN FUTURE .

These Bureaucrats as well as this minister along with these governing bodies like MCI CBSE and the state governments are worthless ,as they are carrying on with their bloody egos putting the aspirants future at stake ,Fucking hell do go for a decision either let Neet take place or else let it be the way it was. It happens only in India
